UK Youth Parliament |
The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) is a national charity aimed at giving a voice to young people aged 11- 18 years on a local and national level.
Every year young people are elected from different areas to represent young people.
UK Youth Parliament Elections 2009
In February 2009 young people aged 11 – 18 in Croydon voted for four people who they want to represent them.

In 2009 young people in Croydon elected the following as Members of the Youth Parliament:

Colm Appleby Kenny
Montel Peck
Charlotte Brown
their job is to represent young people in Croydon.
They work with a group of young people called the UK Youth Parliament Action Team. This team of young pople work together on campaigns to change things for young people in Croydon.
They are currently in the process of visiting youth groups and community events to help them achieve these aims
